Frontend developer - Skopje

As a dutch-based full-service agency we unite over 40 experts from our offices in Veenendaal and Skopje. Together with our clients we nourish long-term brand experience with a mix of offline and online, social and mobile media.

We are looking for progressive, ambitious  and enthusiastic Frontend Developers to join our team in Skopje and work in one of the most progressive professional environments in the IT industry in Macedonia and the region. 

About the work

Together with your colleagues you handle a variety of customer issues with different solutions. At Steets we develop effective websites and applications, completely tailor-made for our customers. You translate the design into a super user-friendly interface with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Don't worry, you won’t be acting alone! A senior developer will be there to guide you on your way with the latest frameworks and standards.

Are enthusiastic and take a proactive role within our creative team, with the drive to develop yourself. You use mobile first and you write semantically correct HTML. Usability, accessibility and W3C standards are top-of-mind with you. Quality, speed and scalability are important; you look beyond that one component. You also have:

• Thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS3.
• Knowledge of pre and post processors SASS and Autoprefixer.
• Understanding of the logic behind CSS methodologies such as BEM and OOCSS and how this can be improved.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and are introduced to ES6.
• Knowledge of jQuery but you can also make pixel perfect websites without it.
• Knowledge of build tools like Gulp, Webpack and/or Grunt.
• You understand version management, preferably Git in combination with Bitbucket and Sourcetree.
• Agency experience is a plus
